Saunders Artisan Textile opens to the public

Saunders Artisan Textile
Find eclectic, exquisite, and eccentric fabrics in the Dallas A. Saunders Artisan Textile showroom and gallery that, after more than a year as primarily a wholesale-only space, is now open to the public three days a week in Geyserville, in northern Sonoma County.

The contemporary fine art gallery displays artworks by major American artists whose works are also in the permanent collections of museums worldwide. The textiles showroom is a resource for interior design focused around natural fiber linen fabrics from small, family-owned mills in Belgium, France, and Ireland. The showroom also exhibits contemporary jacquard tapestries by internationally recognized American artists, including Chuck Close, April Gornik, Robert Kushner, Alan Magee, and Kiki Smith.

Located down a tree-lined drive in the expansive vineyards of the Alexander Valley, Saunders’ 1,800-square-foot showroom and gallery space features 16-foot floor-to-ceiling glass, housed in an architectural award-winning re-imagined former prune packing facility. Dallas A. Saunders Artisan Textile is open to the public on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the winter and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. the summer. It is also open to art collectors and interior designers by appointment on weekdays.
