TravMedia's International Media Marketplace (IMM) Australia returns to ICC Sydney, February 2018

TravMedia Australia's annual flagship event returns to Sydney's International Convention Centre in February 2018.

Now in its sixth year, IMM Australia, the leading event for domestic and international brands in the tourism sector to meet A-list media, is set for another record-breaking year. Brand USA and Visit USA continue their headline sponsorship for the third consecutive year with exciting new additions to the program.

TravMedia's unmissable annual event creates an unrivalled networking and relationship-building opportunity for journalists and travel brands.

IMM 2018 registration officially launches today with exhibitor bookings now live on the event microsite, available at (http://www.travmedia.com/immaus/). IMM 2017 attracted 140 exhibitors, ranging from Abu Dhabi to AccorHotels, Beverly Hills CVB to BridgeClimb, Caesars Entertainment to Cruise Whitsundays, Destination New South Wales to Discover Los Angeles, and the list goes on. The event sold out well in advance, prompting TravMedia to advise customers to book their 2018 places early, to avoid disappointment.

Exhibitors attending IMM enjoy a dedicated branded table from which to brief leading travel journalists, editors and broadcasters during 15-minute one-on-one pre-scheduled meetings, designed to provide media with everything from feature ideas to press trip opportunities. Exhibitors at IMM 2018 will also benefit from an enhanced exhibitor package including features such as social media promotion and inclusion in pre-event communications.

In addition to increased Exhibitor capacity, TravMedia is anticipating another record-breaking media turnout, following IMM 2017's best-ever attendance of 150 journalists and a select group of editorially-minded digital influencers.

This year's IMM attracted editors and senior writers from publications including the Telegraph, Sydney Morning Herald, the Australian, New Zealand Herald, Traveller, Vacations Magazines, International Traveller, Australian Traveller, Spice News, HM Magazine, Travel Weekly, and Travel Daily, to name just a few.

ROI is guaranteed, as meetings can be pre-booked via the IMM's Meetings Manager site, with 3,300 appointments made for IMM 2017 and over 50,000 one-on-one meetings facilitated globally across fifteen events. Journalists can either pre-schedule meetings or visit exhibitor tables throughout the day.

Nick Wayland, TravMedia's CEO and Founder, said: “We are thrilled to be returning to Sydney International Convention Centre and super excited to be hosting our cocktail party in the recently constructed Novotel Darling Habour. This year we will be introducing a breakfast sponsored by Visit USA allowing even more time to networking time."

Exhibitors and journalists know they can generate a year's worth of leads from IMM. Our goal for 2018 is to deliver another record-breaking event, with even more media and quality business exchanges made possible during the various networking opportunities throughout the day.”

Sydney's World Class International Convention Centre (ICC), the largest dedicated conference and exhibition space in central Sydney, is once again TravMedia's venue of choice.

The new 2018 IMM website features the official IMM 2017 sizzle reel video, and two new videos showcasing Media and PR viewpoints on IMM.
