NEW GENERATION VESSEL JOINS CAPTAIN COOK CRUISES FLEET

A new addition to the Captain Cook Cruises Fleet, a state-of-the-art $2.6 million catamaran, has been officially launched in Sydney by Destination NSW Chief Executive Officer, Sandra Chipchase, who had the honour of breaking a champagne bottle across the bow.

The third vessel of its kind to join the fleet, the Annabelle Rankin is named after one of Australia’s pioneer stateswomen, Dame Annabelle Rankin (1908-1986). It is fuel efficient, eco-friendly and equipped with the latest technologies, and the main passenger cabin seats 116 passengers, with a further 31 seats located on the lower outside deck, and 51 seats on the upper deck.

The vessel Annabelle Rankin is contracted to Harbour City Ferries (Sydney Ferries) until June 2017 and will be providing ferry charter services.
