Cairns Festival will kick off its 2012 season with a
multi-dimensional program spanning music, art, dance, culture, comedy and
entertainment in a free and ticketed program that rolls out from Friday 17
August until Sunday, 2 September
One of the highlights of this years Cairns Festival is Music
Botanica featuring Sarah Blasko at the Cairns Botanic Gardens on Sunday, 19
August, 2012.
Enjoy an afternoon of five hours of live musical
entertainment, headlined by the wonderful Sarah Blasko, in the lush green
surrounds of the Cairns Botanic Gardens. After recording a new album overseas,
Aussie singer / songwriter Sarah Blasko returns to Australia to headline this year’s
Music Botanica. Blasko will be supported by a line-up of exceptionally talented
local and national artists: including Holly Throsby, The McMenamins and The
Montgomery Brothers.
