Many Attractions in Western Australia

Kimberley Moon Experience

Explore Western Australia this WA Day

Make the most of WA Day and plan a long weekend holiday. Recently renamed by the WA State Government from Foundation Day, WA Day is the perfect chance to experience extraordinary Western Australia. This year WA Day sees an extended weekend from Saturday 2 June to Monday 4 June. Take a day trip or get away for the three-day weekend. Events taking place include the Kimberley Moon Experience (part of the Ord Valley Muster), The York Gourmet Food and Wine Festival, Whale Song Augusta,Leonora Golden Gift, the Albany Classic Motor Event and the Pinjarra Festival. Foundation Day traditionally recognised the arrival of European settlers; the renaming acknowledges WA's indigenous people as its original inhabitants and custodians, and unites all who have made WA their home, including those who have migrated to WA from around the World.

Chase the sun to Australia's North West

Australia's North West
Considered one of the World's last true frontiers, Australia's North West is a vast wilderness with epic landscapes of red rock, white beaches, waterfalls and gorges, and a rich Indigenous culture and history. And, while much of the country prepares for winter, the North West enters its dry season - characterised by warm sunny days and balmy nights, it's the perfect time to visit. This year's season opening is celebrated with a number of inviting travel deals - see the Tours and Accommodation section below for details.
