Naiade Resorts Changes Name LUX Island Resorts

LUX Belle Mare
The biggest news out of Mauritius over the last week has been the rebranding of the Naiade group’s hotels and resorts.

Announced to the world the in the 4th installment of the teaser video marketing campaign, Paul Jones told us Naiade Resorts are officially changing their name to LUX Island Resorts – and using the catchy slogan : Lighter.Brighter.

In an effort to re invigorate the core brand – and kick start a new era for the group after a few troubled years in a lagging market, I expect LUX Island Resorts to be a better recognised brand for the group, even if it has lost a little of its Indian Ocean, creole uniqueness.
LUX Grand Gaube

A little bit more generic, certainly easier to pronounce, LUX Island resorts is a fresh new amalgamated banner for the group to trade under.

“The concept of “Island Light” is inspired by nature, culture, flavours and typical products of Mauritius, Reunion and the Maldives to prove authenticity. LUX Island Hotels Resorts rely on a theme of fresh simplicity and originality.”

With a new team, and a new name, Lux Island Resorts has resorts in Mauritius, Reunion Island and Maldives.and now crucially needs to work with the trade and ensure that the markets awareness of the brand doesn’t diminish.

LUX Island properties located in Mauritius, will be known as:
LUX Le Morne
- Beau Rivage | LUX Belle Mare
- Legends | LUX Grand Gaube – before being known as Legends, the hotel was called The Grand Gaube.
- Les Pavillons – LUX Le Morne

The other Mauritius properties that are managed by Naiade Resorts, will be part of a “produced by” portfolio, maintaining their current names.
- Tamassa, Bel Ombre
- Merville Beach, Grand Baie
